Promoting Class of 2010
The first 8th grade Promotion Dance meeting was a success with many parents taking on the committee chair rolls. Thank you Jenny Witous for being Chairperson. There are many opportunities to participate in this end of the year event. The main groups are food, photo, chaperone, clean up and of course the decoration committiees. May 31--Memorial Day....NO SCHOOL
June 1--8th grade Promotion Dance for Altimira and Adele Harrison students ONLY! Altimira Middle School MPB, 7 pm to 9:30 (parents please pick up your child promptly).
June 2--8th grade Activity...for all AMS 8th grade students who are not on LOP
due to discipline and/or books overdue.
June 3--Promotion practice 9 am-12:15 pm--PLEASE RETURN by 5:00 pm for 6:30 ceremony.
No seating reservations, however we ask no more than 5 guests per student.

Dear 8th Grade Parents,
This year, the Yearbook Class hopes to have all 8th grade parents participate in our “Parent Ads.” This is your opportunity for your family to send your best wishes to your very own Altimira graduate.
Write a message and include a photo of your child – any photo – from long ago, or just yesterday.
Place your message and photo in an envelope. Include a check (or cash) for $25 dollars, made out to Altimira Yearbook. Please write “Parent Ad” on the envelope and drop it off in the main office.
