Welcome to my classroom webpage! This is my fifth year teaching at Altimira Middle School and I could not be more proud to be a member of the Wolf Pack! I hold a bachelors degree in history from the University of Notre Dame as well as a single subject credential in both English and Social Studies as well as a Masters in Education from National University. Before joining the Altimira staff, I completed my student teaching at Sonoma Valley High School. I also taught photography and silk-screening at Napa State Hospital from 2007-2011. Currently, I am teaching 7th grade Literacy Social Studies and 7th grade Benchmark Social Studies. Students will be working hard within their subject areas, while also having fun in a creative and challenging classroom environment. I am always happy to answer any questions that students and/or parents may have. Please email me at kkrantz@sonomaschools.org or khennessy81@gmail.com Additionally, I can be found most mornings in room A-ll before school starts. If you would like to schedule a conference for your individual student, please email me at one of the above email addresses. Thank you! I look forward to having a wonderful school year with all of you! » read more...
